Someone once told me they think words are important because they get our insides outside. There’s a reason we celebrate baby’s first word (not just the young parents who are always trying to show you the cutest thing that Geneva did yesterday), or value when that baby grows up to have "a way with words."
Words erect and destroy empires. Words limit us and set us free. Words are the so-called friend who eggs us to take another shot, and the essential adversary who calls us a cab at the end of the night. Words hold power whose current courses through everything we do.
